Not many at all. I'm lucky Canada and Mexico are so large. I did the thing for number of states I've been to but who really cares about that. The states are pretty lame, except for a couple cities.
K killed me on the country game though, since she spent the majority of her childhood in various other countries that I have barely even heard of.
Here's me:

Ouch. You can get your map here. Follow the meme here.
Kharis's map is amazing
I need to get out more:
create your own visited country map
or write about it on the open travel guide

I think it would be cool if these had colors coordinating with the duration of the stay as well. I've had opportunities to go across Europe with a Euro-pass and have passed them up to stay for several weeks in one spot.

Gaming The Map
Hmm. I thought I had been around, but my map looks pretty empty as well, although I stil win out over Erik and Josh.
So, how can I game the system for better results?
Well, Russia helped out quite a bit. But I didn't actually visit Russia. I went to the Soviet Union, which was quite a bit bigger. Can I claim all of the now independent states?
What about airplane stops in a country. My flight from Leningrad to Amsterdam stopped in Warsaw, so can I claim Poland? I didn't get off the plane but I was sort of there.
Or maybe Columbia? When I moved from Ecuador to Venezuela we switched planes in Columbia. Some official in the airport said we needed a visa even though we weren't going to officially enter the country. I think we had to pay some sort of a fee.
Or maybe the United Kingdom. As part of the extra security precautions after 9/11 they made everyone on the plane go through immigration before continuing on our journey. I didn't actually leave the airport, but I suppose I could have if I wanted to.
I feel the need to plan my next trip now....

Go Kharis!
Wow. Go Kharis! Mine isn't all that impressive. And China is all red only because I visited Hong Kong, which is now officially part of China. And where's my credit for the British Virgin Islands? :)
