I'm feeling manic again (thinking back to the depression, it seems so obvious). Might as well make a node so I can refer to it next time I'm here. When I'm manic, I like to walk around, and when I walk around I go on extended daydreams about projects I'd like to start working on ASAP. Today's included:
1) Tossing around domain names for a new website I want to build that will allow you to send stuff from your phone to a parsable email address (like wedding-98102@
2) A new book idea, can't tell you too much other than it's tentative title will be Interlingua, and I'll probably do it in November for
3) Build tribe.net but with opinions, stories, pictures, exchanges, and reviews (along with dating stuff and classified stuff of course).
4) The next step for Hello Machine... includes writing the API, my favorite part. It's currently in secret development, and is making secret progress (and it's attached to another secret website).
5) Learning Lojban. Reading the manual and taking a 15 lesson online course.
Smaller things too, and work stuff. Can't keep track of them all. So I'm taking the night off and going to the museum. Maybe a desert and drink on the water.
seems like you want to build a site that does everything. but when you get so many sites like friendster, tribe, amazon, epinions, the boiler, etc, it's going to be hard to be the useful, good site that everyone comes back to. dontcha think? anyhow, wouldn't it be useful to have a kind of "shell" site/service that brings everything together with apis etc? on a person's info page, there could be little modules for their amazon info, their epinions, their friendster info, etc. i might say etc just one more time for effect. etc.
